Super easy. We designed EasyAftercare to take less than 30 seconds per patient. Admin staff just enters the patient's name and phone number and then chooses the procedure. The rest happens automatically!

If your EHR is on Zapier, it's even easier. Triggering the aftercare journey is an automatic process that starts when an appointment is completed. On your EHR appointment calendar, you would just select the appointment type that includes an aftercare journey and the rest happens behind the scenes, with no further involvement from practice staff.

Once your phone number is approved, your staff will start your patients on the appropriate text journeys for their aftercare. There are two ways this can happen, depending on the software you use for your practice management.

Two common applications on Zapier that we already work with are Boulevard and Zenoti. Setup is quick and there is no impact on any staff, as the aftercare journeys are started as soon as appointments are marked as "completed".

If you don't currently use a practice management suite that is on Zapier, starting new patients on an aftercare journey is a 30 second process. Once they are in the system, future journeys are even faster.
After a patient starts on an aftercare journey, any calls or messages sent to the number used will be stored and can be forwarded to your existing EHR platform.

Since we store your messages and patient data in an encrypted database with encrypted backups with all access over encrypted channels, your communication can be viewed and retrieved at any time in the Easy Aftercare platform in a secure environment.

Yes. Since the first step requires consent to receive aftercare instructions, all methods of transporting information are compliant. The EasyAftercare platform itself is HIPAA compliant as well, with all encrypted data storage and access, dedicated user logins, access logs, and timed logouts. Data backups are stored encrypted for the lifetime of your account. As part of compliance with HIPAA, any patients who were sent messages must be kept in the platform for a minimum of 6 years.
